A tour of an amazing medieval church

There was a church on this site before the present building was created around 1340 and each generation has put its stamp on the “cathedral of West Norfolk” Some call it a “rocket to God” for the tall spire seems to extend upwards to heaven.

Come and explore this beautiful 14th century church. Enjoy its peace and quite, admire the incredible stained glass windows, admire the stone mason’s artistry and generally feel the calm and joy that exudes from this building. Our guidebooks will give you further information and do leave a comment in the visitor’s book or leave your address so we may keep in touch. There are visitors’ leaflets near the notice boards so why not take one away to remind you of your visit. You could always buy a jar of our preserves too to extend the enjoyment and at the same time help us to preserve this unique parish church.
